What a game of football. Last year this team smashed us 8-0 & 5-0 this year it was a much more even contest. N/Fleet took the lead with a shot that Jake got a hand to but could not prevent from going in the corner. 5 mins later a misplaced pass by Ayo gifted them a 2nd. Just before the break Alex got one back with a counter attack goal after a great pass from Kenzie. 2-1 at half time in a very even game.
Substitute Jaden made it 2-2 with a shot that was deflected in of a N/fleet player. Almost immediately they scored a good goal to take a 3-2 lead.
Alex got his 2nd after another pin point pass from Jaden had put him through on goal 3-3 and extra time was looming.
N/Fleet continued to batter litterally the lads with OTT tackles and the Parent/Ref gave the boys no protection at all.
The fitness and 4 subs we had meant that in Extra time we stepped up a gear & took the lead when Jaden scored a fantastic up & under after a great pass from Coaches MoM David.   
4-3 & N/Fleet were now pushing to equalise another great counter attack saw LB Rob put Alex clean through  1 on 1 with the keeper and there was only 1 result. 5-3 to Pegs a hat trick for Parents MoM Alex and 14 very happy lads.
Whatever happens in the next round of the cup we have proved we can play and beat the best teams.
